- I'm an MFA student at the University of Utah and did my undergrad at BYU. I bleed a bright shade of purple. My degree is in Community-Based Art Education, and my eternal quest is to find ways to intersect art and life. I believe in a kind of art that is productive and meaningful, that reflects and in the process builds. I am an artist whose aim is to put her talents and abilities at the service of her community. This is not easy. This blog is an attempt to compile and sort and synthesize information about the arts, in the hope that I can figure out this whole how-to-be-an-artist thing.
